1975
The company was founded to manufacture test equipment.
Regulated DC power supply and puncture / insulation tester.
1980
Sonic began the production of Computer Switching Power Supplies.
Initial support to the Apple II Computer then production changed to support IBM PCs.
1984 Purchased headquarters building and relocated at Shih Lin, Taipei, Taiwan.
1985
The first Taiwanese SPS maker to phase in SPS automated test equpiment.
Average monthly production: 30,000 units.
1990
The second factory (Tao Yuan, R.O.C.) began full operation.
Monthly production: 100,000 units
1993 Opened office in the Netherlands. Local support to European customers.
1994
The Dong Guan I factory began full operation.
Monthly production capacity: 200,000 units
1997 Received ISO9002 certification for Dong Guan factory.
1998
The Dong Guan II factory began full operation.
Received ISO9001 certification for Taiwan head office & Tao Yuan factory.
1999
Purchased new headquarters building and relocated at present address Neihu
Hi-tech area, Taipei. Taiwan monthly production capacity: 850,000 units.
2000 Opened German office.
2001

Signed international distributor agreement with G.M. Corporation Ltd. to serve South Korean customers
